Regular Season Round 3: Spojnia - Anwil 82-95

Spojnia Stargard (1-2) was defeated at home by Anwil (3-0) with the biggest margin this round 95-82 on Saturday night. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Tony Wroten (198-93, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording 16 points. His fellow American import swingman Chris Dowe (191-91, college: Bellarmine) helped adding 9 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was American swingman Raymond Cowels-III (191-91, college: Santa Clara) with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Lithuanian point guard Jokubas Gintvainis (193-94) scored 11 points and 6 assists. Four Spojnia Stargard players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Anwil will face Enea Astoria (#5) in Bydgoszcz in the next round. Spojnia Stargard will play on the road against Trefl (#7) in Sopot and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
