Round 2 most important game was a defeat of ADBA (1-1). They were crushed by Alcobendas (1-1) 74-38 on Saturday night. Alcobendas forced 20 ADBA turnovers and outrebounded them 45-33 including 18 on the offensive glass. Center Daira Varas (193-89) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Kiara Kudron (188-94, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American forward Deangelique Waithe (183, college: LIU Brooklyn) responded with 17 points and Ana Fernandez (175-93, college: Canisius) scored 4 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ADBA will play next round against Arxil Pontevedra trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Alcobendas will try to continue on its current victory against Universitario de Ferrol at home.
