Regular Season Round 3: Sudety - Pleszew 85-79

There was no surprise in Jelenia Gora where Pleszew (1-2) was defeated by Sudety (2-0) 85-79 on Saturday. It was a great evening for point guard Wojciech Szpyrka (178-98) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Rafal Niesobski (189-82) helped adding 20 points and 7 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Sudety's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Mikolaj Spala (189-93) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Patryk Marek (189-98) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sudety will face Slask 2 Wroclaw on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pleszew will play against Katy Wroclawskie (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
