Regular Season Round 3: Trefl - Polpharma 95-91

Very expected game in Sopot where Polpharma (0-3) was defeated by Trefl (2-1) 95-91 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Trefl looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for point guard Carlos Medlock (183-87, college: E.Michigan) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 5 assists. Center Nana Foulland (208-95, college: Bucknell) helped adding 13 points and 17 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Brett Prahl (206-94, college: Milwaukee) with 15 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Kamau Stokes (183-95, college: Kansas St.) scored 20 points. Four Trefl and five Polpharma players scored in double figures. Trefl will face Spojnia Stargard (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Polpharma will play against GTK (#10) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
