KK Zabok (2-1) recorded a loss in Sinj on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Alkar (2-1) 76-73. Alkar dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to KK Zabok's 32 and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Alkar looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Nickolas Neal (185-88, college: Purdue-NCent.) who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Guard Frano Pralija (191-1) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. Neal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was Luka Tomas (191-99) who recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Patrik Jambrovic (203-96, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Alkar is looking forward to face KK Skrljevo (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KK Zabok will play against Sibenik (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
