Very important is a road loss of third ranked Bambitious N. (2-6) against fifth ranked Kumamoto V. (3-5) on Saturday night. Visiting Bambitious N. was crushed by Kumamoto V. in Kumamoto 101-70. Kumamoto V. shot 61.0 percent from the field and made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Kumamoto V. outrebounded Bambitious N. 37-24 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Kumamoto V. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a great evening for American power forward Gavin Ware (206-93, college: Mississippi St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Kaito Ishikawa (188-90) helped adding 11 points and 16 assists. Five Kumamoto V. players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) responded with 26 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import Greg Mangano (208-89, college: Yale, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kumamoto V. moved-up to third place. Bambitious N. at the other side dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Koshigaya A. and Ehime OV. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
