Regular Season Round 5: La Roda - Real Murcia 71-61

The most surprising game was the first loss of Real Murcia (4-1) on the court of eleventh ranked La Roda on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by La Roda 71-61. Croatian center Filip Krajina (209-95) stepped up and scored 9 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and point guard Kevin Navarro (178-92, agency: Promo Sport ID) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Navarro is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Jamaican power forward Clint Robinson (203-94, college: UIC) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Danish point guard Frederik Nielsen (178-88) scored 9 points and 4 assists. Real Murcia's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. La Roda (1-4) left bottom position moving up to tenth place in Silver. Real Murcia at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. La Roda are looking forward to face league's second-placed CB Prat on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Real Murcia will play against Barca II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
