Regular Season Round 5: Peja - Lipjani 96-82

Bottom-ranked Lipjani (0-5) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to fifth ranked Peja (3-1) 96-82. Peja outrebounded Lipjani 42-20 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Croatian forward Henrik Sirko (198-93) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and American Jamichael Morgan (194) accounted for 22 points and 6 rebounds. Four Peja players scored in double figures. American point guard Demarkus Stuckey (183, college: Goshen) came up with 38 points (!!!) and 5 assists and the other American import forward Marquise Simuels (198, college: Valdosta St.) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Lipjani in the defeat. Peja moved-up to third place, which they share with Prishtina. Lipjani at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Peja will play against Trepca (#7) in Mitrovice in the next round. Lipjani will play at home against Prishtina and hopes to get finally their first victory.
