Regular Season Round 2: Genero - Ardoi 51-78

Not a big story in a game in Las Palmas where Genero (0-2) was rolled over by Ardoi (2-0) 78-51 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Ardoi especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Argentinian forward Maria Lineira (182-83) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Iranzu Echeverria (-93) chipped in 13 points during the contest. Center Yaiza Garcia (190-88) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and guard Sara Duarte (167-95) scored 12 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ardoi will face Barca CBS in Barcelona in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Genero will play on the road against Picken Claret (#10) in Valencia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
