Rather predictable result when second ranked Lenadores (7-2) defeated at home 5th ranked Huracanes (3-5) 102-95 on Saturday. Lenadores shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. It was a great evening for American-Puerto Rican Devon Collier (203-91, college: Oregon St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Naturalized Puerto Rican guard Joseph Soto (190-93) helped adding 17 points and 8 assists. American guard Kyle Lamonte (191-84, college: William Carey) responded with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import Aaron Harper (203-81, college: Ole Miss) scored 21 points. Four Lenadores and five Huracanes players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Lenadores. They maintain second place with 7-2 record behind leader Mineros, which they share with Aaguacateros. Huracanes lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with five games lost. Lenadores will have a break next round. Huracanes will play against Correcaminos (#7) in Ciudad Victoria and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
