Regular Season Round 5: Albacete - Prat 83-91

Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Albacete (2-3) was defeated at home by fourth ranked CB Prat (4-1) 91-83 on Saturday. Brazilian center Vinicius Da-Silva (212-1) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and center Arnau Parrado (200-0) chipped in 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American-Dominican Eddy Polanco (190-94, college: SE Louisiana) responded with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and American forward Doug Taylor (206-97, college: Ohio, agency: Duran International) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. CB Prat moved-up to second place in Silver. Loser Albacete dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. CB Prat will face La Roda (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Albacete will play against Menorca in Mahon and hope to win that game.
