Regular Season Round 3: GKS Tychy - Kotwica 86-83

Important game to mention about took place in Tychy. GKS Tychy (2-1) saved a 3-point victory at home edging Kotwica (0-3) 86-83 on Saturday evening. GKS Tychy looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for center Przemyslaw Wrona (205-93) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Michal Jankowski (191-87) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Jakub Stanios (180-94) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kotwica. Four GKS Tychy and five Kotwica players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. GKS Tychy will face Pogon Prudnik (#9) on the road in the next round. Kotwica will play against STK Czarni (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
