LNBP top team - Panteras (8-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Angeles (1-9) in Aguascalientes 102-69. Panteras forced 21 Angeles turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Panteras especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Puerto Rican forward Benito Santiago (198-89, college: Cumberlands) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points. American guard Ronnie Boyce-III (191-95, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-98, college: PR-Mayaguez, agency: Paris Global Sports) answered with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American center Travis Elliott (203-91, college: Beth.-Cookman) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Angeles. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Panteras maintains first place with 8-2 record. Angeles lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost.
