Date: October 12, 2019
Kings smashed Adelaide 36ers in Sydney 102-80. Kings players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Adelaide 36ers' players. The former international swingman Brad Newley (199-85, agency: BeoBasket) notched 18 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward JaeSean Tate (193-95, college: Ohio St.) supported him with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 26 points and 7 rebounds by the former international power forward Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) did not help to save the game for Adelaide 36ers. Ukrainian-American point guard Jerome Randle (175-87, college: California) added 16 points and 5 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Adelaide 36ers will play next round against Illawarra Hawks trying to get back on the winning streak. Kings will try to continue on its current victory against New Zealand Breakers at Auckland.
