Very important is a road loss of Artego Bydg. (2-1) against Wisla Krakow (1-0) on Saturday night. Visiting Artego Bydg. was defeated by Wisla Krakow in a tough game in Krakow 61-65. It was a great evening for American center Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU) who led her team to a victory scoring 26 points and 8 rebounds. Her fellow American import point guard Chloe Wells (173-92, college: Duke) helped adding 14 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. The best for the losing side was Lithuanian power forward Laura Miskiniene (190-92) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican point guard Jennifer ONeill (165-90, college: Kentucky, agency: LBM Management) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Wisla Krakow will play against Katarzynki (#12) in Torun in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Artego Bydg. will play at home against Sleza Wroclaw (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
