Regular Season Round 3: Legia - Enea Astoria 69-71

A very close game took place in Warszawa between Enea Astoria and Legia. Enea Astoria (2-1) got a very close victory on the road over Legia (0-3). Enea Astoria managed to escape with a 2-point win 71-69 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Enea Astoria forced 19 Legia turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Kris Clyburn (198-96, college: UNLV) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Mateusz Zebski (190-92) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Enea Astoria's coach Artur Gronek used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Sebastian Kowalczyk (188-93) who recorded 20 points and 4 assists and Congolese forward Romaric Belemene (205-97) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Enea Astoria will meet at home Anwil in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Legia will play against Stelmet Enea BC (#12) in Zielona Gora and hopes to get finally their first victory.
