Regular Season Round 3: KFUM Uppsala - Jarfalla 93-71

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Jarfalla (1-1) on the court of KFUM Uppsala on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by KFUM Uppsala 93-71. The game without a history. KFUM Uppsala led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. KFUM Uppsala outrebounded Jarfalla 42-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Jarfalla's players. 24 personal fouls committed by Jarfalla helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for guard Kevin Grant (191-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized Greek point guard Mannos Nakos (179-88) helped adding 13 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was Syrian guard Joseph Abboud (189-89) with 8 points and 12 rebounds and guard Simon Ghazanfari (183-92) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KFUM Uppsala are looking forward to face KFUM Sundsvall (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jarfalla will play against Ockelbo (#2) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
