Roseto Sharks dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to JuveCaserta's 46. JuveCaserta was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Swingman Abramo Canka (198-2) scored 25 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Simone Pierich (199-81) chipped in 23 points during the contest. Roseto Sharks' coach Germano D'Arcangeli used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Seth Allen (185-94, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 43 points (!!!) and guard Marco Giuri (194-88) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Roseto Sharks will face A.Costa IM (#12) in Imola in the next round.
