Very important is a road loss of Magia Huesca (2-1) against Gipuzkoa (2-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Magia Huesca was defeated by Gipuzkoa in a tough game in San Sebastian 64-68. The best player for the winners was American point guard Reed Timmer (185-95, college: Drake) who scored 13 points. Latvian center Davis Rozitis (215-90, college: Hawaii) chipped in 7 points and 9 rebounds. Rozitis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was Croatian forward David Skara (203-95, college: Clemson) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and guard Daniel Garcia (185-98) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively. Four Magia Huesca players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Gipuzkoa's next round opponent will be Marin (#17) on the road which should be an easy win for them. Magia Huesca will play against Leyma Basquet (#13) and hope to win that game.
