Regular Season Round 3: Victoria - Gomel 77-53

Victoria smashed Gomel-Sozh in Grodno 77-53. The game was mostly controlled by Victoria. Gomel-Sozh managed to win second period 13-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Victoria held Gomel-Sozh to an opponent 15.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.8 percent accuracy of the winners. It was a good game for forward Irina Kravchenko (182-1) who led her team to a victory with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Elizaveta Shyshliuk (178-5) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Forward Anna Hatskevich (180-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds and guard Maryna Rakauskaya (173-92) added 15 points in the effort for Gomel-Sozh. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gomel-Sozh will play next round against strong Olimpia trying to get back on the winning streak. Victoria will try to continue on its current victory against RGUOR in Minsk.
