No shocking result in a game in Michoacan where second ranked Aaguacateros (7-2) outleveled 8th ranked Laguneros (1-11) 107-82 on Tuesday. Aaguacateros looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Laguneros' players. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. It was a great evening for forward Tristan Spurlock (203-91, college: UCF) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Center Jerome Meyinsse (207-88, college: Virginia) helped adding 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Aaguacateros' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Trent Steen (203, college: UAPB, agency: One Motive Sports) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and guard Darrice Whitley (195-93, college: ETBU) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Five Aaguacateros and four Laguneros players scored in double figures. Aaguacateros maintains second place with 7-2 record behind leader Mineros, which they share with Lenadores. Laguneros lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. Aaguacateros will face Abejas (#5) in Guanajuato in the next round. Laguneros will play against Plateados and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
