There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Capo d'Orlando (3-3) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Palermo GB (2-3) 82-73 on Wednesday. Palermo GB looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Brazilian forward Bruno Duranti (197-93) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Luca Pollone (195-97, agency: Players Group) who added 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Luca Bolletta (198-91) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and guard Gianpaolo Riccio (193-96, college: Ave Maria) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Five Capo d'Orlando players scored in double figures. Palermo GB moved-up to ninth place in B. Loser Capo d'Orlando dropped to the seventh position with three games lost.
