Kings delivered the fourth consecutive victory on Friday night. This time they beat New Zealand Breakers (0-2) 96-91 in Sydney. Kings made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game, while New Zealand Breakers only scored four points from the stripe. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kings made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for American point guard Casper Ware (178-90, college: LBSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 5 assists. The former international center Andrew Bogut (213-84, college: Utah) helped adding 11 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks. The best for the losing side was American swingman Scotty Hopson (200-89, college: Tennessee) with 27 points and 7 rebounds and New Zealand guard Corey Webster (188-88, college: Lambuth, agency: Alti Sport) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Kings will meet at home Bullets (#5) in the next round.
