Very important is a home loss of second ranked AZS PCz (3-1) against top-ranked Wisla Krakow (3-0) on Saturday night. Host AZS PCz was defeated by Wisla Krakow in Czestochowa 90-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of AZS PCz. It was a key game for the second position in Group C. They outrebounded AZS PCz 34-22 including 22 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Rafal Zglobicki (196-94) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and point guard Artur Wlodarczyk (180-96) who added 12 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Nikodem Kowalski (200-95) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and Piotr Lucka (194-96) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wisla Krakow have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group C, which they share with Jaworzno. Loser AZS PCz dropped to the fourth position with one game lost. They share it with AZS AWF Mick. and MKS DG 2. Wisla Krakow's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Krakow to the arena AZS AGH KR.
