Fontedoso Carrefour's 27-point road win over 8th ranked La Antigua 81-54 was very exciting. They outrebounded La Antigua 44-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. Point guard Jaume Lobo (180-97) stepped up and scored 28 points for the winners and Czech center Tomas Hampl (215-88) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Fontedoso Carrefour players scored in double figures. Fontedoso Carrefour's coach Jose Antonio Sanchez felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American Nick Moore (198-91, college: Nyack) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Pau Monroig (175-96) scored 13 points. Fontedoso Carrefour (2-1) moved-up to third place in Group A-B, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser La Antigua dropped to the bottom position with two games lost.
