Regular Season Round 6: Zamorano - Marbella 77-62

Date: October 19, 2019
Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Zamorano and 8th ranked Marbella had identical 2-3 record. This time Zamorano used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Marbella 77-62 on Saturday night. The best player for the winners was American guard Bryce Canda (193-95, college: Portland St.) who scored 23 points. Forward Walter Cabral (200-95, agency: Dynamics Global Management) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Canda is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Taylor Cameron (196-91, college: Winona St., agency: Promo Sport ID) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Adrian Fuentes (183-87, agency: Promo Sport ID) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Four Marbella players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Zamorano (3-3) moved-up to sixth place in Silver. Newly promoted Marbella dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Zamorano will face league's leader Juaristi ISB in Azpeitia in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Marbella will play at home against Estela (#3) and hope to win that game.
