No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked JDA Dijon (4-1) smashed on the road 14th ranked Entente Orleans 45 (1-4) 85-65 on Saturday. JDA Dijon looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Entente Orleans 45's players. The best player for the winners was American point guard David Holston (173-86, college: Chicago St.) who scored 5 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Nigerian-American guard Rasheed Sulaimon (193-94, college: Maryland) chipped in 5 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. JDA Dijon's coach Laurent Legname used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American Christopher Evans (203-91, college: Kent St.) produced 18 points and 6 rebounds and Bosnian forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. JDA Dijon moved-up to third place, which they share with Bourg. Newly promoted Entente Orleans 45 keeps the fourteenth position with four games lost. JDA Dijon will face Gravelines-Dunkerque (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Entente Orleans 45 will play against JSF Nanterre (#9) and hope to win that game.
