There was a minor upset when 8th ranked GKS Tychy (2-3) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Miasto Szkla (2-1) 69-62. Miasto Szkla brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Forward Alan Czujkowski (199-90, agency: Promotex) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Guard Marcin Dymala (187-90) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Point guard Kacper Majka (183-97) answered with 19 points and 7 assists and Michal Jankowski (191-87) added 17 points in the effort for GKS Tychy. Miasto Szkla moved-up to fifth place. GKS Tychy at the other side keeps the eighth position with three games lost. Miasto Szkla's next round opponent will be league's leader STK Czarni in Slupsk and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. GKS Tychy will play on the road against AZS PO (#7) in Opole and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
