Leader Titanes delivered the ninth win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Warriors (4-8) 89-50. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Warriors. They outrebounded Warriors 57-25 including a 44-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American-Dominican swingman Luis Jacobo (196-91, college: PFW) who scored 31 points and 9 rebounds. Naturalized Venezuelan swingman Hector Diaz (197-92) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Titanes players scored in double figures. Titanes' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International guard Michaell Jackson (196-87) produced 11 points and 8 rebounds and international point guard Franklyn Forbes (182-96) added 6 points respectively for the hosts. Defending champion maintains first position with 9-3 record. Warriors at the other side stay at the bottom place with eight games lost. They share the position with Cimarrones. Titanes are looking forward to face Piratas (#3) in Bogota in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
