No shocking result in a game in Wroclaw where seventh ranked Asseco Arka (3-1) edged 11th ranked Slask (1-3) 85-83 on Saturday. Asseco Arka made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. American swingman Josh Bostic (196-87, college: Findlay, OH) fired 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners. The other American import Leyton Hammonds (203-94, college: Oklahoma St., agency: Inception Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Asseco Arka's coach Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international forward Mathieu Wojciechowski (203-92) produced 27 points and 8 rebounds and the former international point guard Kamil Laczynski (183-89, agency: Alti Sport) added 16 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Asseco Arka moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Slask lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with three games lost. Asseco Arka will face Start (#4) in Lublin in the next round. Slask will play on the road against Polpharma (#16) in Starogard Gdanski and hope to win that game.
