Regular Season Round 4: MKS DG - BM Slam Stal 88-82

Bottom-ranked BM Slam Stal (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 88-82 loss to eighth ranked MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (3-1) in Dabrowa Gornicza. The winners were led by American guard Dominic Artis (192-93, college: UTEP, agency: Network Sports International) who scored that evening 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Austrian-American forward Bryce Douvier (201-91, college: Texas A&M-CC) supported him with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five MKS Dabrowa Gornicza players scored in double figures. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza's coach Michal Dukowicz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 25 points and 5 rebounds by the former international guard Daniel Szymkiewicz (193-94) did not help to save the game for BM Slam Stal. Swingman Przemyslaw Zolnierewicz (196-95) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. BM Slam Stal at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Twarde Pierniki in Torun and it will be for sure the game of the week.
