Regular Season Round 6: Chanson V-M - Toyota B SR 65-73

WJBL top team - Toyota B SR (5-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Chanson V-M (1-3) in Shizuoka 73-65. The best player for the winners was power forward Sakiko Nomachi (177-87) who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Saito Asami (173-96) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Toyota B SR players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Sanae Motokawa (176-92) who recorded 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Rika Tanimura (185-93) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Chanson V-M's coach Haiyan Ding rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Toyota B SR have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-1 record. Chanson V-M at the other side dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
