No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Monfalcone (4-1) defeated on the road 7th ranked Juvi Cremona (2-3) 76-72 on Saturday. Monfalcone shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. The best player for the winners was Matteo Schina (180-1, agency: Players Group) who scored 25 points. Giulio Casagrande (197-93, agency: Players Group) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Marco Bona (189-89, agency: Two Points) produced 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Rodolfo Valenti (200-80) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Juvi Cremona's coach Pierluigi Brotto tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Monfalcone. Newly promoted Monfalcone maintains fourth place in B with 4-1 record, which they share with Lecco. Loser Juvi Cremona keeps the seventh position with three games lost. Monfalcone will face Olginate (#7) at home in the next round. Juvi Cremona will play against San Vendemiano and hope to win that game.
