Regular Season Round 5: Castelldefels - Mollet 76-77

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Mollet and 8th ranked Castelldefels had identical 2-2 record. But Castelldefels was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Mollet 77-76 on Sunday night. Center Angel Soto (205-90) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and power forward Javi Rodriguez (202-92) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Four Mollet players scored in double figures. Center Marc Bernadi (205-93) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Andreu Sese (189-97) scored 18 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Mollet (3-2) moved-up to fourth place in Group C-B, which they share with 4 other teams.
