Bottom-ranked Pesaro (0-4) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to second ranked Brindisi (4-1) 108-99 on Sunday evening. Brindisi shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward John Brown-III (201-92, college: High Point) who scored 32 points and 7 rebounds. American-Israeli Adrian Banks (191-86, college: Arkansas St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. American guard Jaylen Barford (191-96, college: Arkansas) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian guard Vasa Pusica (196-95, college: Northeastern) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Brindisi and five Pesaro players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Brindisi. They maintain second place with 4-1 record behind leader Virtus BO. Pesaro lost their fourth game in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Brindisi will meet Openjobmetis VA (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pesaro will play against Grissin Bon RE (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
