Regular Season Round 5: Andorra II - Almozara 68-76

There was a minor upset when higher ranked Andorra II (2-3) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Almozara (2-3) 76-68 on Sunday. Forward Hugo Cano (195-93) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and guard Victor Hernandez (-97) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. Naturalized Andorra forward Alexis Bartolome (199-98) responded with 24 points and 9 rebounds and guard Raimon Carrasco (187-99) scored 14 points. Andorra II's coach Xavier Luque rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Almozara moved-up to seventh place in Group C-A, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Andorra II. Almozara will face Esparreguera (#12) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Andorra II will play against Maristes Ademar in Badalona and hope to win that game.
