Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Swingman Michele Ferrari (196-86) nailed a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and guard Andrea Dagnello (189-91) accounted for 16 points. Naturalized Argentinian center Diego Corral (204-86, agency: Interperformances) came up with 13 points and 9 rebounds and guard Stefano Cernivani (185-91) added 14 points respectively for Vicenza in the defeat. Padova have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of B leader, which they share with Bernareggio and San Vendemiano. Vicenza lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with three games lost. Padova's next round opponent will be Lecco (#5) at home. Vicenza will play against Mestre and hope to win that game.
