An interesting game for Fuerza Regia (8-4) which played road game in Mexico against 4th placed Capitanes (7-3). Third ranked Fuerza Regia managed to get a 7-point victory 71-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Capitanes. It was a very good performance for Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Ole Miss) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 4 assists. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Fuerza Regia's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Dominican guard Rigoberto Mendoza (190-92) answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds and the former international Hector Hernandez (205-85, college: Fresno St., agency: BeoBasket) added 15 points in the effort for Capitanes. Fuerza Regia moved-up to second place, which they share with Panteras. Loser Capitanes keep the fourth position with three games lost.
