There was an upset when higher ranked Giulianova (2-3) was defeated at home by fifteenth ranked Teramo (1-3) 67-59 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was swingman Giorgio Di-Bonaventura (192-97) who scored 25 points. Valerio Cucchiario chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Senegalese power forward Yande Fall (200-90) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and guard Enrico Gobbato (193-98) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Teramo left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place in B. Loser Giulianova dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Teramo will face league's second-placed Piacentina in Piacenza in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
