The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-73. Kristika Turku forced 22 FoKoPo turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by FoKoPo's players. It was a good game for power forward Mikael Aalto (205-94) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. French forward Manuel Barnes (200-92, college: Baker) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American guard Isaac Williams (195-94, college: MVSU) answered with 22 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Arnold Fripp (201-93, college: Coppin St.) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for FoKoPo. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kristika Turku will face Oulun NMKY (#8) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
