Regular Season Round 5: Scauri - Palestrina 59-68

Very expected game when 14th ranked Scauri (1-4) was defeated at home by third ranked Palestrina (4-1) 68-59 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was point guard Simone Rischia (185-90) who scored 15 points. Point guard Gianmarco Rossi (182-90) chipped in 15 points. Edoardo Lucarelli (193-99) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and guard Roberto Chessari (194-0) added 11 points respectively for the hosts. Scauri's coach Andrea Masini tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Palestrina moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Monfalcone and Lecco. Loser Scauri dropped to the thirteenth position with four games lost. Palestrina will face Pozzuoli (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Scauri will play against Nardo (#5) and hope to win that game.
