The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Miedzychod's (3-1) home victory over 7th ranked SMS PZKosz (1-3) 98-72 on Tuesday. Miedzychod looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by SMS PZKosz's players. Swingman Jakub Nowak (188-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Jakub Simon (202-96) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Four Miedzychod players scored in double figures. Center Kamil Bialachowski (199-2) answered with 23 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Konrad Szymanski (188-2) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for SMS PZKosz. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Miedzychod. They moved-up to fourth place in Group A. Loser SMS PZKosz dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
