Rather predictable result in Monterrey where second ranked Fuerza Regia (10-4) beat 4th placed Lenadores (7-4) 85-80 on Friday. They outrebounded Lenadores 38-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Daniel Bejarano (193-91, college: Colorado St.) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Puerto Rican guard Joseph Soto (190-93) who recorded 21 points and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and American guard Aaron Valdes (196-93, college: Hawaii, agency: Pro Sports) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fuerza Regia have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 10-4 record having just three point less than leader Mineros. Loser Lenadores keep the fourth position with four games lost.
