Regular Season Round 7: Mulhouse - Saint Vallier 82-90

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Mulhouse (2-5) lost at home to fourth ranked Saint Vallier (5-2) 90-82 on Friday. It was a very good performance for point guard Rida El-Amrani (184-86) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 assists. American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Canadian forward Guillaume Boucard (198-90, college: Carleton) answered with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and center David Conde (202-92) added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Mulhouse. Four Mulhouse players scored in double figures. Saint Vallier maintains fourth place in Group B with 5-2 record. Mulhouse lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. Saint Vallier will face Andrezieux (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Mulhouse will play against the league's leader C'Chartres and hope to win that game.
