Regular Season Round 4: Psychiko - Pagrati 94-76

Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Athens: Psychiko (#9) and Pagrati (#10). Psychiko (2-2) smashed visiting Pagrati (1-3) by 18 points 94-76. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-76. Psychiko forced 19 Pagrati turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Iakovos Milentigievits (185-97) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and swingman Antonis Mantzaris (193-86) who added 20 points and 4 steals during the contest. Five Psychiko players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Yiannis Tzivelekas (180-96) responded with 20 points and Montenegrin center Milovan Draskovic (211-95, agency: Interperformances) scored 9 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Psychiko moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Koroivos. Newly promoted Pagrati dropped to the eleventh position with three games lost. They share it with Filippos Veroias. Psychiko will meet Koroivos (#7) on the road in the next round. Pagrati's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Athens Dafni.
