Regular Season Round 9: Aisin AW - Saga B. 78-84

An interesting game for Saga B. (8-1) which played road game in Aichi against 3rd placed Aisin AW (6-3). Second ranked Saga B. managed to get a 6-point victory 84-78. American Trey Gilder (206-85, college: Northwestern St.) nailed 43 points (!!!) for the winning side and his fellow American import power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) accounted for 4 points and 17 rebounds. American Kyle Richardson (201-91, college: Portland St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and guard Fujita Shunsuke (187-93) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for Aisin AW in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Saga B. have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Toyoda Gosei. Loser Aisin AW keeps the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Iwate Big Bulls. Saga B. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aisin AW will play again against the league's leader Saga B. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
