Regular Season Round 7: Villarrobledo - Real Murcia 67-66

Important game to mention about took place in Villarrobledo. Sixth ranked Villarrobledo (4-3) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Real Murcia (5-2) 67-66 on Saturday evening. It was a great evening for American forward Vadal Faniel (201-92, college: Texas A&M Int.) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import guard DeAngelo Hailey (190-90, college: NW Missouri St.) helped adding 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Villarrobledo players scored in double figures. At the losing side Jamaican power forward Clint Robinson (203-94, college: UIC) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and forward Jon Aramburu (204-92, agency: Duran International) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Real Murcia's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory Villarrobledo went down to seventh position (Silver) due to points difference. Real Murcia at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Villarrobledo will play against higher ranked CB Prat (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Real Murcia will play against the league's leader Girona Basquet having rather not much hope for a victory.
