Very predictable result when fourth ranked Menorca (5-2) won against on the road 10th ranked La Roda (1-6) 78-69 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for power forward Urko Otegui (203-81) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds. American center Duby Okeke (203-94, college: Nebraska) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Menorca's coach Oriol Pages used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Kevin Navarro (178-92, agency: Promo Sport ID) answered with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and American-Nigerian forward Anthony Elechi (203-93, college: Morehead St.) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for La Roda. Four La Roda players scored in double figures. Menorca moved-up to second place in Silver. Loser La Roda keeps the tenth position with six games lost. Menorca will face Barca II (#6) in Barcelona in the next round. La Roda will play on the road against Benicarlo (#12) in Castellon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
