There was a surprise result when seventeenth ranked Blusens Monbus (2-4) won against on the road higher ranked UCAM Murcia (2-4) 95-90 on Saturday. Blusens Monbus shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. It was a good game for American guard Fletcher Magee (193-96, college: Wofford) who led his team to a victory with 32 points. Slovakian forward Vladimir Brodziansky (210-94, college: TCU, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Greek Giannoulis Larentzakis (195-93, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Swiss-American guard Askia Booker (186-93, college: Colorado) added 22 points and 4 assists in the effort for UCAM Murcia. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Blusens Monbus moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated UCAM Murcia. UCAM Murcia lost third consecutive game. Blusens Monbus will face Joventut (#14) in Badalona in the next round.
