We should mention about the upset which took place in Venezia, where 10th ranked Vanoli Cremona (2-3) lost to thirteenth ranked Umana Venezia (3-3) in a road game 55-67 on Saturday. Umana Venezia outrebounded Vanoli Cremona 42-31 including 34 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Austin Daye (211-88, college: Gonzaga, agency: Alti Sport) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. American-Dominican forward Mitchell Watt (208-89, college: Buffalo) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Wesley Saunders (196-93, college: Harvard) who recorded 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian guard Vojislav Stojanovic (199-97) added 13 points and 4 steals respectively.
